		&#60;p&#62;&#60;strong&#62;The Howard League for Penal Reform Bursary &#60;/strong&#62;&#60;/p&#62;
 &#60;p&#62;&#60;strong&#62;MA Criminology - &#60;/strong&#62;&#60;strong&#62;Centre for Criminal Justice Policy and Research&#60;/strong&#62;&#60;/p&#62;
 &#60;p&#62;&#60;strong&#62;T&#60;/strong&#62;&#60;strong&#62;he bursary&#60;/strong&#62;&#60;/p&#62;
 &#60;p&#62;The Howard League for Penal Reform is offering a bursary paying the full time fees of the MA Criminology at the BCU in 2009/10. The successful applicant will be responsible for all other costs including travel.&#38;nbsp; The recipient of this bursary will also be expected to spend time with staff in the offices of the Howard League for Penal Reform in London.&#60;/p&#62;
 &#60;p&#62;&#38;nbsp;&#60;strong&#62;Requirements of the bursary&#60;/strong&#62;&#60;/p&#62;
 &#60;ul&#62; &#60;li&#62;Complete the MA in one year between October 2009 and September 2010&#60;/li&#62;
 &#60;li&#62;Progress regularly reviewed by the Howard League for Penal Reform&#60;/li&#62;
 &#60;li&#62;Research and write-up a dissertation on an issue related adults in the penal system&#60;/li&#62;
 &#60;li&#62;Present their research in a format suitable for publication.&#60;/li&#62;
 &#60;/ul&#62; &#60;p&#62;&#38;nbsp;Applicants invited for interview require&#60;/p&#62;
 &#60;ul&#62; &#60;li&#62;An undergraduate degree with an upper second classification or better or, substantial professional experience;&#60;/li&#62;
 &#60;li&#62;Student or ordinary membership of the Howard League for Penal Reform;&#60;/li&#62;
 &#60;li&#62;Excellent written communications skills.&#60;/li&#62;
 &#60;/ul&#62; &#60;p&#62;&#38;nbsp;&#60;strong&#62;Applying for the Bursary&#60;/strong&#62;&#60;/p&#62;
