The Centre for Criminal Justice Policy and Research is a growing staff group commited to pursuing critical policy-relevant research in a number of key areas of criminal justice.

Currently Centre members have expertise in the areas of:

  • prisons and penal policy
  • capital punishment law and practice
  • policing theory and practice
  • the cultural representation of criminal justice processes
  • Public Order Policing

with more members due to join the Centre shortly.
